Our Big Rig Profile this time is Mr. Paul Moore and his Mega-Godfather Peterbilt 379. Now if you’re a subscriber of collector you know this rig, if not then let me introduce you to one of the finest big rigs rolling in America.
The truck is a 1999 Peterbilt 379 conventional, that will punch you in the head and knot your eyes out with the degree of chrome and paint. Now where do you start?
Let try this . . . the truck has a big 550 Cat engine, 18 speed transmission, 320” wheelbase and is painted in a stunning black and white canvas. The front bumper is a 22” custom wrap around, with JJ headlights and brackets. The truck has a set of JJ turn signals, louvered grill and a custom “Harley Davidson” hood ornament.
The 10” exhaust, and then you get the full effect of the huge sleeper, which is 144” long factory stretched. Paul is one of the owner operators at daily direct who hauls motorcycles, snowmobiles, trikes, scooter, etc., across county in a custom designed 53’ Kentucky drop deck van, complete with lift gate
